I've finished a version of the short Night Nurse that I'm pretty happy with. It's only about 14 pages long, and thematically a cousin of the feature. Again, it's merely a vehicle to show what I can do behind a camera. It will also be used as a device to sell the larger version of the film to investors. What I mean is using it to get money for the larger version.

Now, of course, all I need to do is shoot this damn thing. My producer Anatole isn't doing well. I won't go into specifics, except to say that if he can't get on his feet soon, I'm going to have to find someone else to help out with this. Which is fine, because above all else, Anatole is a friend, and I want him to get better.

So the first thing I need to do now is get some cash together. I'll have to look at my finances, see what I can spare, and put together a budget. I think the first thing I'll do is get someone to storyboard the damn thing, which I'll have to pay for. Once I get that out of the way, I'll move on from there. I have someone in mind, and I'm hopefully going to see them over the Christmas holiday, so maybe I'll get that ball rolling very soon. I'll just have to get the money issue resolved first.

More as it comes.

Some people might storyboard it for really cheap. That is if you know who to talk to.
