So my storyboard artist isn't sick anymore, and she's done some work. She's basically done the images for the first few seconds of the film, leading up to the first few lines of diaglogue from our hero, Eddie.

The images are rough, kind of like a comic book. And since storyboards are like touchstones, they don't have to be exactly what you're looking for. It's like hand grenades. You just have to have the idea of what you're looking for. So Eddie probably doesn't look like the guy we'll get to play him. And maybe his suit will be darker. And maybe the camera will move differently when he comes to a stop. But for certain, I will open on his feet walking from left-to-right across the screen. And I will pan up to his face. Maybe he'll already be on the phone when I get there. But I'll get there. Who knows.

But this is exciting. I know that in 5 or 10 years this'll be no big deal. But this is the beginning.
